Who Am I Kidding?

I think I have Spring/Summer Fever. (I am only kidding myself though.)

I went to the mall today. I spent way too much money. But my children now each have an entire Spring/Summer wardrobe. You name it, I bought it. Tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, skirts, sundresses, bathing suits, hats,sandals, sunglasses and towels. I left the mall feeling great, like summer was near, like I had accomplished something. Then I got home...and realized that we still have TONS of snow and a LONG way to go before summer-BOO!!!

    Uhhh, this only reminds me that I need to go spring/summer shopping. Not that there is anything wrong with shopping. There's just something wrong with spending money!

    Sometimes shopping just makes it feel like Summer... then reality hits. Blah to winter!

    I have long believed that a good shopping trip can cure whatever ails you. Sadly, it will not bring about a change in the weather, my friend.

    Have you tried the "spring dance"? It is similar to the rain dance, but guaranteed to bring sunshine instead. :)
